St Edmunds Society
offers vocational training opportunities to vulnerable young people.
For many, the chance to gain trade related qualifications, as well as the attitude necessary to achieve sustained independence, can be a turning point in many young people’s lives. We support young people aged 11-25 who have struggled in mainstream education, many of whom are vulnerable, have Special Educational Needs, been excluded from school, or simply not in education, employment or training (NEET). The impact is significant, as we build positive aspirations and an increase in self-worth and self-esteem, removing barriers to learning, to allow the students to achieve accredited trade related qualifications.
